Free printable dollhouse furniture templates
Create cut-and-glue miniature furniture patterns for a table, bench, or bookcase. Choose 1:6, 1:12, or 1:24 scale, enter real furniture reference dimensions, and download a vector PDF. This first edition focuses on simple cardstock forms rather than complicated woodworking joints.
What is included in each furniture pattern?
Table: one top with adhesive placement marks and four square tube legs with score lines and a small glue seam. Bench: seat, two end supports, and an under-seat brace. Bookcase: back, two side panels, top and bottom, plus two separate shelves. Parts are grouped into complete printable sheets without resizing.
Understanding printable scale dimensions
Type the measurements of the real-size reference furniture. At 1:12, a 30 × 18 × 24 inch table becomes approximately 2.5 × 1.5 × 2 inches. The generator applies the ratio once to each part, including leg tube widths. Physical cardstock thickness can change the assembled external measurement slightly, so dry-fit and adjust before gluing.
How to print and cut your miniature furniture
Use the chosen US Letter or A4 paper size and print at Actual Size (100%), not Fit to Page. Solid outlines are cut lines; dashed lines mark folds. Score fold lines before folding, but do not cut them. Transfer patterns to moderately stiff cardstock or thin chipboard. Use a light glue application so small pieces do not warp. Start with a test in ordinary paper.
Assembling the table, bench, or bookcase
For a table, fold each leg net along its four longitudinal scores into a square tube. Glue the final narrow flap inside the first panel, then glue all four tubes beneath the tabletop. For a bench, fold the two narrow end-support tabs, glue them underneath the seat, and attach the brace between them. For a bookcase, glue the sides perpendicular to the back, add top and bottom, then fit the shelves. Fold the narrow shaded back lip on each shelf before attaching it; the free side edges still need a small glue bead. The back panel has two side glue lips.
Material and strength limitations
These templates are made for decorative, lightweight dollhouse scenes. They have not been physically load-tested. Very narrow 1:24 legs may be difficult to fold, and the finished fit depends on paper thickness and adhesive. If you need precise load-bearing model furniture, use engineered wood or laser-cut patterns instead of this beginner paper craft.

Frequently asked questions
Are these PDF furniture templates free?
Yes. Create and download your templates in the browser without payment or registration.
Do I need to scale the PDF when printing?
No. The PDF already contains the chosen miniature size. Print at 100 percent on the matching paper size.
Is a 1:12 table the same size as a 1:24 table?
No. With the same real furniture reference dimensions, 1:24 prints half as large along each dimension as 1:12.
