02 — On the desk
These are studio drawings of the kinds of pages the generators will print. They are sketches, not files to download.
A tuck box drawn as a net: panels, flaps, and fold lines you can score. Grocery cartons and gift boxes will follow this kind of sheet.
See packaging toolsA repeating sheet whose motif stays small enough for a 1:12 wall. Print it at actual size, then trim it to the room.
See the wallpaper toolA rug, a picture mat, and a run of floorboards, each with a dashed cut line. Pieces for a room, not a locked template.

A sample of the studio. A card marked Coming Soon does not download a file. When a generator is ready, its card will open it.

05 — How it works
Every generator follows the same path. A tool stays marked Coming Soon until its PDF can walk all four steps.
01
Set the paper size, the scale, and the words or measurements that belong on the piece.
02
Check the finished size, the fold lines, and the sheet before any paper is used.
03
Save a PDF laid out for US Letter or A4. A tool that is still on the bench does not offer a file.
04
Print at actual size, measure a known mark, then cut, score, and assemble.
06 — Why the measurements matter
A pretty page that prints the wrong size is a wasted sheet. The studio is organized around the size you asked for.
Scale is math. A 1:12 piece is one twelfth of the object it stands in for, and the sheet is drawn from that number.
Each generator is planned for both sheets, so the piece fits the paper already in a US printer or an A4 tray.
Labels, colors, and sizes are inputs. You are not stuck with one drawing and a pair of scissors.
Crop marks, fold guides, and a calibration habit are part of the studio, so the file is meant for a printer, not only a screen.
07 — Before you print
These apply to every sheet from the studio, and to most other printables you already own.
In the print dialog, choose 100% or Actual size. Fit to page and scale-to-fit change the measurements, even when the preview looks fine.
A one-inch square on the calibration sheet should measure one inch with a steel ruler. If it does not, correct the print scale before you cut a detailed piece.
65 lb cover, about 176 gsm, holds a tuck box. Text-weight paper is enough for wallpaper, rugs, and mats that will be glued flat.
Run a bone folder, or the back of a butter knife, along the fold line before you bend the paper. The corner stays sharper and the panel stays square.
Cut on the line for the outside of a box. Cut just outside the line when the piece has to fit inside another, such as a drawer in a sleeve.
Inkjet ink can smear on a fold, especially across a large area of color. Give the sheet a minute before you score it.
08 — Questions
Straight answers about paper, scale, and what is ready to print.
No. MiniPaperLab is a website you open and print from. This version of the studio has no sign-in.
Generators are planned for US Letter and A4. Choose the sheet that is actually in the printer, then print at actual size.
One inch on the miniature stands for twelve inches on the real object. It is the usual dollhouse scale. Some tools also offer 1:6, where one inch stands for six, and 1:24, where one inch stands for twenty-four.
A tool is listed when we know what it should make. It is offered for download only after the PDF is customizable and the measurements check out. A Coming Soon card does not include a file.
You may sell objects you cut and assemble yourself, including gifts. The PDF and the generator are not yours to resell or upload elsewhere. The terms page is the current rule.
There is no checkout on this version of the site. If a tool ever has a price, that price will be stated on the tool before you download anything.
Confirm the dialog says 100% or Actual size, and that Fit to page is off. Then measure the square on the calibration sheet. If that square is not one inch, the printer is still scaling the page.
The bench is open
Ready generators will say so. Until then, the directory is a clear list of what is coming, with no file pretending to be finished.
